The 500ml filters feature an expanded 90mm diameter membrane designed to increase flow and reduce clogs, facilitating faster filtration. These filters come with easy-to-read molded graduation marks on the bottle top for accurate measurement, and bold printed membrane and pore size for straightforward identification. Each bottle top displays a printed lot number and expiration date, ensuring traceability. The improved filter support contributes to faster flow rates, while the angled hose barb adapter accommodates three hose diameter sizes and prevents tipping of the filter. The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane is engineered for high flow and low binding, with a 0.22µm PES membrane being the preferred choice for sterile filtration of cell culture media, while the 0.45µm PES membrane is optimal for solution clarification. Additionally, the nylon (PA) membrane is known for its excellent chemical compatibility and does not require pre-wetting. The bottle top filters are designed to fit on CellTreat® solution bottles or other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles. Please note that the bottle top filters do not include solution bottles.
