The 500ml filters are designed with an expanded 90mm diameter membrane to enhance flow and minimize clogs, enabling faster filtration. Each bottle top filter features easy-to-read molded graduation marks for accurate measurement, alongside bold printed membrane and pore sizes for straightforward identification. Additionally, every bottle top includes a printed lot number and expiration date. The improved filter support allows for quicker flow rates, while the angled hose barb adapter accommodates three hose diameters and prevents tipping of the filter. Constructed from polyethersulfone (PES), the 0.22µm PES membrane is optimal for sterile filtration of cell culture media, while the 0.45µm PES membrane is suitable for solution clarification. The nylon (PA) membrane boasts excellent chemical compatibility and does not necessitate pre-wetting. These bottle top filters are designed to fit on CellTreat® solution bottles or other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles; however, solution bottles are not included with the filters.
