The hydrophilic nylon membrane exhibits excellent chemical compatibility with esters, bases, and alcohols and does not require pre-wetting. Additionally, the hydrophobic PTFE membrane offers excellent temperature resistance, making it useful for clarifying aqueous samples as well as filtering strong acids and alkali solvents.
