The 500ml filters are designed with an expanded 90mm diameter membrane to enhance flow and reduce clogs, facilitating faster filtration. Each filter features easy-to-read molded graduation marks on the bottle top, along with bold printed membrane and pore size for straightforward identification. The curved bottle design allows for easy handling, while each bottle top is marked with a printed lot number and expiration date for traceability. An improved filter support mechanism aids in achieving faster flow rates, and the angled hose barb adapter is designed to fit three different hose diameters, preventing the filter from tipping during use. The filters utilize a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, ensuring high flow rates with low binding characteristics. The 0.10µm PES membrane is specifically ideal for mycoplasma removal, while the 0.22µm PES membrane is recommended for sterile filtration of cell culture media, and the 0.45µm PES membrane is suited for solution clarification. The filter systems include a bottle top filter and a solution bottle with cap, though the bottle top filter is also available separately.
