The 500ml filters are designed with an expanded 90mm diameter membrane to enhance flow and reduce clogs, resulting in faster filtration. Each bottle top filter features easy-to-read molded graduation marks, bold printed membrane specifications, and pore sizes for clear identification. The curved bottle design facilitates effortless handling, while the printed lot number and expiration date on every bottle top ensure consistent quality control. Improved filter support contributes to enhanced flow rates, and the angled hose barb adapter is compatible with three different hose diameters, preventing tipping of the filter. The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane provides high flow and low binding characteristics, with a 0.10μm PES membrane suitable for mycoplasma removal, a 0.22μm PES membrane being the preferred option for sterile filtration of cell culture media, and a 0.45μm PES membrane ideal for solution clarification. Each filter system includes a bottle top filter and a solution bottle with cap, though the bottle top filter is also available separately.
