The 500ml filters are designed with an expanded 90mm diameter membrane to enhance flow and minimize clogs, facilitating faster filtration. Each filter features easy-to-read molded graduation marks on the top, along with bold printed membrane and pore size for straightforward identification. Additionally, every bottle top is marked with a printed lot number and expiration date. The design includes improved filter support for enhanced flow rates and an angled hose barb adapter compatible with three hose diameters, effectively preventing tipping. The filters utilize a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, offering high flow and low binding, with a 0.22 µm PES membrane recommended for sterile filtration of cell culture media, while a 0.45 µm PES membrane is suited for solution clarification. The nylon (PA) membrane provides excellent chemical compatibility and does not require pre-wetting. These bottle top filters are compatible with CellTreat® solution bottles and other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles, but do not include the solution bottles themselves.
