The 500ml filters feature an expanded 90mm diameter membrane designed to increase flow and reduce clogs for faster filtration. The bottle top filter includes easy-to-read molded graduations marks, bold printed membrane and pore sizes for easy identification, and a printed lot number and expiration date on every bottle top. Improved filter support enhances flow rates, while the angled hose barb adapter accommodates three hose diameter sizes and prevents the filter from tipping. The Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane is suitable for high flow and low binding applications, with a 0.22 μm PES membrane being the first choice for sterile filtration of cell culture media, and a 0.45 μm PES membrane ideal for solution clarification. The Nylon (PA) membrane offers excellent chemical compatibility and does not require pre-wetting. Bottle top filters are compatible with CellTreat® solution bottles or other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles, although the filters do not include solution bottles.
