The 500ml filters feature an expanded 90mm diameter membrane designed to increase flow and reduce clogs for faster filtration. Each bottle top filter includes easy-to-read molded graduations marks, bold printed membrane and pore size for quick identification, and a printed lot number and expiration date for quality assurance. The improved filter support ensures faster flow rates, while the angled hose barb adapter accommodates three hose diameters and prevents tipping of the filter. The filters utilize a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, which offers high flow and low binding; the 0.22µM PES membrane is optimized for sterile filtration of cell culture media, while the 0.45µM PES membrane is ideal for solution clarification. Additionally, a nylon (PA) membrane is included for its excellent chemical compatibility without the need for pre-wetting. These bottle top filters are compatible with CellTreat® solution bottles and other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles, though the solution bottles are not included.
