The 500ml filters are equipped with an expanded 90mm diameter membrane designed to enhance flow and minimize clogs for quicker filtration. Each filter features easy-to-read molded graduation marks on the bottle top, along with bold printed indications of the membrane and pore size for straightforward identification. Every bottle top is marked with a printed lot number and expiration date. The design incorporates improved filter support to facilitate faster flow rates, and an angled hose barb adapter that accommodates three hose diameter sizes while ensuring stability without tipping. The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane provides high flow with low binding and is optimal for sterile filtration of cell culture media at 0.22μm, whereas the 0.45μm PES membrane is intended for solution clarification. Additionally, the nylon (PA) membrane offers excellent chemical compatibility without the need for pre-wetting. These bottle top filters are compatible with CellTreat® solution bottles or other standard 45mm threaded solution storage bottles, although the solution bottles are sold separately.
