The B9160 Series cylindrical ball knob meets ANSI A 156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2 standards, and complies with federal specifications FF-H-106C, Series 160. The lock housing and chassis are constructed from cold rolled steel with a zinc dichromate finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. It requires a standard bore of 2-1/8" (53.97mm) through the door, with a backset of 2-3/4" and an optional 2-3/8". The door thickness accommodates 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". The latch features a brass 1/2" throw, with a UL option available, and includes a guarded latchbolt on all keyed functions. The latch front dimensions are 1" x 2-1/4" for a 2-3/8" backset or 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" for a 2-3/4" backset. The strike plate measures 4-7/8" A.S.A, with options for a 2-3/4" T strike or a 2-1/4" full lip strike. The cylinder is a solid brass 6 pin keyed 5, available in SC-1 keyway, #1145 or AR-1 keyway, and the locks are compatible with Lori plugs. Master key and grand master key options are available, with 2 keys provided per lock. The lock is non-handed and comes in finishes of US3 and US32D. The standard package includes keyed functions featuring a 2-3/4" backset latch (UL available), a 4-7/8" A.S.A strike with SC-1 keyway, 2 spin-on roses, and 2 keys. The trim specifications include a knob with a diameter of 2-1/4" and a rose with a diameter of 3", both finished in stainless steel.
