The 8161-Series cylindrical ball knob meets ANSI-A 156.2, Series 4000, and Grade 1 specifications, along with UL Federal Specification FF-H-106C. The lock housing and chassis are constructed from cold rolled steel with a zinc dichromate finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. It requires a standard 2 1/8" (53.97mm) bore through the door, with a backset of 2-3/4" and accommodating door thicknesses of 1-3/8" to 2". The latch features a brass 1/2" throw, is UL-fire rated for 3-hour doors, and includes a guarded latchbolt across all locking functions. The latch front measures 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" for the 2-3/4" backset, while the strike dimensions are 4-7/8" A.S.A. The lock cylinder is made of solid brass, has a 6 pin configuration with a 5 SC-1 keyway or an AR-1 keyway, and is compatible with LORI plugs. Each lock comes with 2 keys, is non-handed, and is available in a US32D finish. The available functions include entrance and passage, with a knob trim diameter of 2-1/4" and a rose diameter of 3", finished in stainless steel.
