The B9160 Series cylindrical ball knob is designed to meet ANSI A 156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2 standards, as well as federal specifications FF-H-106C, Series 160. Constructed from cold-rolled steel with a zinc dichromate finish for enhanced corrosion resistance, it requires a standard 2-1/8" (53.97mm) bore through the door. The backset options are 2-3/4" or an optional 2-3/8", accommodating door thicknesses of 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". The latch features a brass 1/2" throw and is UL listed as an available option. All keyed functions come with a guarded latchbolt. The latch front dimensions are 1" x 2-1/4" for the 2-3/8" backset and 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" for the 2-3/4" backset, with the strike available in a 4-7/8" A.S.A option, or either a 2-3/4" T strike or a 2-1/4" full lip strike. The solid brass cylinder is 6-pin keyed with a 5 SC-1 keyway, and is compatible with Lori plugs, with master key and grand master key options available. Each lock includes 2 keys and is designed to be non-handed. Finishes are available in US3 and US32D. The standard package includes a keyed function with a 2-3/4" backset latch (UL available), a 4-7/8" A.S.A strike, an SC-1 keyway, 2 spin-on roses, and 2 keys. The trim features a knob with a 2-1/4" diameter and a rose with a 3" diameter in a stainless steel finish.
