Haws model 8315CTFP heat traced combination shower and eye/face wash features a unique 3-way valve that reduces the amount of pressurized pipe and non-pressurized standing water, significantly lowering the potential for "dead leg" water in the system and minimizing opportunities for Legionella growth. The unit is compact, allowing for economical and swift UPS shipment. Included is the medically acclaimed Axion MSR eye/face wash head assembly, which incorporates an innovative inverted flow design that aligns with EMT, emergency room, and doctors' office protocols by directing contaminants away from the nasal cavity. Unlike traditional eyewashes, which can redirect contaminants toward sensitive areas, the Axion MSR system promotes safer irrigation. The system also boasts a new hydrodynamic shower design that balances water distribution and reduces strong physical pressure, enhancing comfort by breaking water streams into smaller droplets. Built-in safety features comprise porting for an optional thermal actuator bleed valve, a 120V thermostat cable, double wrapped piping, 1" (2.5 cm) insulation around pressurized piping, an external jacket to prevent freezing, and a universal emergency sign.
