Made from Aerex 1.5.5®, a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer, this work shoe is over 40% lighter compared to most steel toe PVC and rubber shoes. It is ideal for applications in warehouses, workshops, construction, transportation, municipalities, janitorial settings, and various food processing environments, including dairy, meats, vegetables, and breweries. The shoe offers superior chemical resistance to fats, oils, hydrocarbons, and many acids and alkalies. It features a 6-inch height, composite safety toe, and a black cleated outsole. The composite safety toe meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH* standards and will not trigger metal detectors. The shoe is 100% liquidproof and resistant to a wide range of chemicals, acids, alkalies, and oils. Additionally, the cleated, slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole provides superior grip on dry, wet, clean, and contaminated surfaces. Tiny air bubbles within the material help to keep feet warm in cold conditions and cooler in heat. The lightweight Aerex 1.5.5® construction ensures all-day comfort, and a unique thumb pocket at the top opening allows for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning. It also features a wrap-around heel kick for hands-free removal and eliminates shoelaces that could cause contamination or trip hazards. The removable, contoured insole absorbs the energy of heel strikes, minimizing impacts to the foot while walking and reducing the risk of injuries. Note that the electrical hazard soles and heels are designed to reduce risks associated with accidental contact with live electrical circuits but are not suitable for use in environments with volatile chemicals or explosives, nor where conductive footwear is required. Caution is advised, as the electrical hazard features may deteriorate in wet environments. Size options include Men's 9 and Women's 11.
