The work shoes are made from Aerex 1.5.5®, a proprietary, chemical-resistant, thermally-insulative, microcellular polymer, making them over 40% lighter than most steel toe PVC and rubber shoes. They are ideal for applications in warehouses, workshops, construction, transportation, municipalities, janitorial tasks, and various food processing environments including dairy, meats, vegetables, and breweries. The shoes boast superior chemical resistance to fats, oils, hydrocarbons, and many acids and alkalies, and they come in men's size 12. Key features include a 6-inch height, composite safety toe that meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH standards and does not trigger metal detectors, and a 100% liquidproof design. The cleated, slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole ensures superior grip on dry, wet, clean, and contaminated surfaces. The lightweight construction enhances all-day comfort, while tiny air bubbles within the material help regulate temperature, keeping feet warm in the cold and cooler in the heat. The unique thumb pocket allows for a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning, and the wrap-around heel kick enables hands-free removal. There are no shoelaces to contaminate or pose a trip-and-fall hazard, and the removable, contoured insole absorbs heel strike energy to reduce the risk of foot injuries. The electrical hazard soles and heels are designed to reduce hazards from accidental contact with live electrical circuits, although they are not intended for environments with volatile chemicals or explosives. It is important to note that the electric hazard features will deteriorate in wet conditions and when exposed to excessive moisture.
