The Merit Red Brass Seamless Standard Pipe Nipple measures 3/8 x 6 NPT Male and is manufactured from seamless red brass pipe, specifically alloy 230. This red brass is easier to machine, less brittle, and offers superior resistance to corrosion compared to yellow brass, as it will not dezincify. The material provides excellent corrosion resistance from water and heat, and it is resistant to attacks from saltwater, acids, and minerals found in peaty soils.
