The Merit Red Brass Seamless Standard Pipe Nipple measures 4 x 6 inches with NPT Male threading. It is produced from seamless red brass pipe, specifically alloy 230, known for being easier to machine, less brittle, and more resistant to corrosion compared to yellow brass, which does not dezincify. This brass material provides good corrosion resistance against water and heat, as well as resistance to attack from salt water, acids, minerals, and peaty soils found in water.
