Merit Red Brass Seamless Standard Pipe Nipple 3/4 x 2-1/2 NPT Male is produced from seamless red brass pipe, alloy 230. This red brass nipple is easier to machine, less brittle to work with, and significantly more resistant to corrosion than yellow brass, as it will not dezincify. It offers good corrosion resistance from water and heat and resists attack from salt water, acids, and minerals found in peaty soils contained in water. Primarily utilized for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, this brass nipple is also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications. The product dimensions are 3/4 inch by 2-1/2 inches.
