The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ radial bristle brush, measuring 6" x 1/2" x 1", features a ceramic 80 grit abrasive. This brush utilizes a proprietary ceramic abrasive grain blended with aluminum oxide and molded, flexible bristles, resulting in more surface contact than traditional wire brushes while maintaining its abrasive properties throughout its lifespan. It effectively removes paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, rust, heavy oxides, and surface contaminants. The flexible bristles stay securely in place under normal use and can achieve the desired finish with light pressure. Designed for longevity, this bristle disc excels on various metals, including aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, and stainless steel.
