The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Disc measures 3/4" x 1/16" and features a ceramic 80 grit. This disc utilizes proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain and molded, flexible bristles, which provide more surface contact than traditional wire brushes while maintaining abrasive properties throughout its lifespan. The fast-running disc effectively removes paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, rust, heavy oxides, and surface contaminants from large areas. Under normal use, the flexible bristles remain securely in place, achieving the desired finish with light pressure. Designed for durability, this disc outlasts wire and other abrasive discs and is suitable for use on aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and other metals. It is applicable across various industries including general industrial, aerospace, automotive, metalworking, and transportation. The ceramic aluminum oxide blend enhances the toughness and hardness of the grain, leading to superior cut-rate and durability, making it ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal and finishing tasks.
