The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Disc, measuring 3/4" x 1/16" with a 120 grit, utilizes proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain and molded, flexible bristles to provide superior surface contact compared to wire brushes, while maintaining its abrasive properties throughout its lifespan. This high-performance disc effectively removes paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, rust, heavy oxides, and surface contaminants from large areas. Its flexible bristles stay securely in place under normal use, allowing for the desired finish with light pressure. Engineered to outlast traditional wire and other abrasive discs, it is suitable for use on aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and a variety of other metals; it finds applications in general industrial operations, aerospace, automotive, metalworking, and transportation sectors. The proprietary 3M™ ceramic aluminum oxide blend enhances toughness and hardness, offering improved performance as it fractures frequently, outperforming aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability.
