The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ EXL unitized wheel TR measures 2" x NH and is made from aluminum oxide 2A medium. It features a compressed, non-woven fiber construction with uniform grain distribution, ensuring consistent and professional results in applications such as weld polishing, deburring of aircraft parts, and blending on various metals, plastics, and composites. The wheel is designed with higher density EXL material for aggressive cutting power, making it effective for deburring edges and corners without damaging the part, while the lower densities provide softness and conformability for finishing contoured surfaces. This product incorporates the 3M™ Roloc™ quick release system, allowing for quick and easy disc changes, and is compatible with both the edge and surface of the wheel. Available in fine, medium, and coarse grades, the 3M™ Roloc™ quick change discs are designed for easy attachment to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), facilitating rapid swaps between tasks or multi-step finishing processes. The Roloc system securely attaches discs for heavy-duty applications, and Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products utilize abrasives integrated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, delivering consistent results throughout the product's lifespan. The open-web material maintains a cooler operation to minimize part discoloration and warping, while the load-resistant fibers help prevent clogging, thereby enhancing the disc's durability.
