FrogTape® 225 Gold is a performance grade, medium-high adhesion masking tape designed for use in moderate temperatures within the transportation and metal fabrication industries. It operates effectively in temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, making it a user-friendly masking solution that ensures consistent paint lines and clean removal. This tape features excellent adhesion to surfaces such as metal, rubber, plastic, and fiberglass, and is resistant to water, various solvents, and gel coats. It provides clean, flat edges for sharper paint lines and is highly conformable for rounding curves and contours. Additionally, it is easy to unwind, allows for residue-free removal, and can withstand UV exposure for up to 3 days. The strong, smooth crepe paper backing is tear- and sliver-resistant, backed by a rubber-based adhesive. Please note that this product does not contain PaintBlock® technology.
