The 3M™ 61500122629 Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized wheel measures 6" x 1/2" x 1/2" and is composed of aluminum oxide 2A, making it suitable for applications such as blending and deburring across various industries, including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines. This unitized wheel is designed to provide a clean edge without smearing, which reduces the need for additional cleanup and preparation. Specifically crafted for optimal performance on a die grinder, the EXL unitized wheel minimizes heat buildup during operation, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials. It features abrasive minerals that quickly smooth edges of metal, plastic, and composites and is available in various grades: aluminum oxide in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse grades, as well as silicon carbide in very fine and fine grades.
