The 3M™ 61500057445 Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized wheel measures 3" x 1/4" x 1/4" and is made of silicon carbide 2S, designed specifically for applications such as blending and deburring across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines. This unitized wheel provides a clean edge without smearing, effectively reducing the need for additional clean-up and preparation. Optimally designed for use on a die grinder, it minimizes heat buildup during operation, making it particularly suitable for heat-sensitive materials. The Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized wheel is filled with abrasive minerals that enable quick smoothing of edges on metal, plastic, and composites. It is available in aluminum oxide in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse grades, as well as silicon carbide in very fine and fine grades.
