3M™ PSA Cloth Disc 348D is a heavy-duty sanding disc that features a high-strength pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, which allows for efficient application and clean removal when adhered to a backup pad or steel platen. This sanding disc is designed with a heat-resistant resin bond and cloth backing, making it suitable for high heat and heavy-duty sanding applications. The closed coat of aluminum oxide particles provides a fast cut for grinding and dual-action (D/A) sanding on metal. This versatile disc is effective for deburring, blending, cleaning, and finishing metal parts and surfaces of various sizes and shapes. It operates by being pressed onto a backup pad (sold separately) attached to a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander.
