The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL Deburring Wheel measures 8" x 2" x 3" and features silicon carbide 9S abrasive mineral for superior performance on low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing. Its convolute construction and clean, uniform wear ensure smooth operation and a professional finish while minimizing operator fatigue. The Scotch-Brite material runs cool, maintains uniform wear, and continuously exposes fresh abrasives, making it ideal for heat-sensitive substrates and extending the wheel's service life. Available with silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals, the wheel offers different performance characteristics: silicon carbide provides a sharp, fine finish but breaks down faster, while aluminum oxide offers a higher cut rate and longer life. Scotch-Brite™ incorporates abrasives into non-woven nylon fibers, creating a load-resistant open-web material that limits clogging and maintains high abrasive performance throughout the product's life.
