The Scotch-Brite™ EXL deburring wheel features a unique convolute construction designed to deliver a clean surface without smearing, significantly reducing the need for additional cleanup and preparation. This wheel operates with uniform wear, minimizing operator fatigue while achieving a professional finish. Made from Scotch-Brite material, it runs cool and continuously exposes fresh abrasives, making it suitable for heat-sensitive substrates. The wheel's toughness extends its service life and it is available with two types of abrasive minerals: silicon carbide, known for its sharpness and effectiveness in low-pressure applications like paint preparation and finishing, and aluminum oxide, which offers a high cut-rate and durability. While silicon carbide produces a finer finish and breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, both abrasives are incorporated into non-woven nylon fibers, creating a load-resistant open-web material that maintains cutting performance by limiting clogging.
