The 3M™ 60440202202 PSA cloth disc 348D measures 12" x NH with a grit rating of 36 and is designed for applications including blending, deburring, flat areas, grinding, orbital sanding, and random orbital sanding in metal fabrication as well as primary wood and panel processing. This heavy-duty sanding disc features a high-strength pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that adheres to a backup pad or steel platen, allowing for efficient application and clean removal. The disc is constructed with a heat-resistant resin bond and cloth backing, making it suitable for high heat and heavy-duty sanding applications. It contains aluminum oxide particles in a closed coat, providing a fast cut for grinding and dual action sanding on metal.
