The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SC surface conditioning disc is designed for a variety of applications including blending, deburring, and finishing. This kit includes discs featuring either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals. Silicon carbide is ideal for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation, providing a finer finish but breaking down faster than aluminum oxide, which offers a higher cut-rate and longer life. The 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system allows for quick and easy disc changes, enhancing efficiency in multi-step processes. The discs are color-coded by grade for easy identification, and the open-web fiber construction runs cool while resisting loading, reducing the risk of part discoloration and warping. This design maintains high performance by limiting clogging and extending disc life.
