The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Disc SC-DR features a 1-1/2" diameter TR aluminum oxide CRS grit with an open-web fiber design that runs cool and resists loading while providing a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. The disc utilizes the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system for quick and easy disc change-out, making it suitable for blending, deburring, and finishing tasks. The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SC surface conditioning disc is available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is a synthetic sharp mineral ideal for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing, producing a finer finish but breaking down faster, while aluminum oxide is a hard, blocky mineral offering high cut-rate and long life. These quick change discs easily attach onto a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately) and provide a secure hold even during heavy-duty use, with color-coded grades for easy identification. The abrasive minerals are incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, forming a system that delivers consistent performance throughout the product's life by reducing clogging and maintaining high abrasive efficacy, while the open-web structure helps reduce part discoloration and warping by running cool. The disc dimensions are 1-1/2" diameter and it complies with relevant safety and quality certifications. Warranty terms are included with the product.
