The 3M™ Stikit™ cloth disc roll 341D includes 100 aluminum oxide abrasive discs measuring 5 inches in diameter with a P180 grit, designed for heavy stock removal on wood, metal, composites, and solid surface materials. These discs feature a heavy X-weight cloth backing with a resin bond that enhances disc life under high heat and pressure conditions, while the fast-cutting aluminum oxide grain offers continuous cutting and long-life performance on various substrates. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows for easy application and removal on a compatible 3M Stikit backup pad, simplifying grade changes without leaving residue. Aluminum oxide is chosen for its fast cut rate, hardness, durability, and self-fracturing properties, making it suitable for woodworking, metalworking, and grinding on ferrous alloys. The disc roll format allows easy tearing of individual discs without a liner. The discs are intended for use with a 3M Stikit backup pad, compatible with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, and stationary disc sanders. Typical applications include blending, deburring, flat surface sanding, grinding, orbital sanding, random orbital sanding, and metal fabrication.
