The DryRod® II Type 1 oven from Phoenix is the smallest portable rod oven available, specifically designed for individual welders with a storage capacity of 10 lb (5 kg) for 14 in or 18 in electrodes. It features a rod elevator for quick removal of electrodes, a 10 ft cord that locks into the oven base for a fixed connection, and insulation for both the body and lid to minimize heat loss and energy usage. The oven maintains a consistent chamber temperature of 300°F (150°C), ensuring that electrodes remain moisture-free until use and pass inspection. Additionally, the unit includes an indicator light, is safety yellow for increased visibility in the field, and has a spring latch that tightly secures the insulated lid during transport. The heating elements are compatible with 120/240V dual volt configurations, providing versatile use.
