The oil-filled nylon, presented in a natural color, is designed specifically for food contact applications. Its lack of pigment allows this grade to comply with FDA regulations 21 CFR, sec. 177.15, as well as USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17, making it suitable for direct contact with food. Typical applications include FDA-compliant bearings and bushings replacements for stainless steel in food processing environments such as bottling, canning, packing, and processing lines. This material is ideal for use in friction and wear parts, gears, sprockets, and various rotational components.
