Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material features a combination of PTFE fibers, which are uniformly dispersed within Delrin® acetal resin, typically containing 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 or a 13% PTFE powder-filled variant. Additionally, a full-strength version, Delrin® 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available via custom order. The DE588 variant is fully certified for compliance with US Naval specifications, ensuring that it meets stringent performance and safety standards. This product is particularly suited for industrial applications requiring high durability and low friction characteristics.
