Linen phenolic grade LE (linen electrical grade) provides good mechanical and electrical strength, making it recommended for intricate high-strength parts. The material has a continuous operating temperature of 250°F and meets the NEMA LE standard for electrical grade linen phenolic rods. These rods are produced as "sheet rod," which is centerless ground from LE sheets. Additionally, a special order option for "rolled and molded" grade is available with a lead time and typically a higher price.
