Linen phenolic grade LE (linen electrical grade) provides good mechanical and electrical strength, making it suitable for intricate high strength parts. It has a continuous operating temperature of 250°F and meets the NEMA LE standard for electrical grade linen phenolic rods. These rods are produced as "sheet rod," which is centerless ground from LE sheets. Additionally, a special order "rolled and molded" grade is available, though it typically comes with a higher price and longer lead-time.
