This oil-filled nylon, presented in a natural color, is specifically designed for food contact applications. The absence of pigment allows this grade to meet FDA regulations 21 CFR, Sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17, making it suitable for direct contact with food. Typical applications include replacement of FDA compliant bearings and bushings for stainless steel in food processing environments, such as bottling, canning, packing, and processing lines, as well as friction and wear parts, gears, sprockets, and rotational components.
