Linen phenolic grade LE (linen electrical grade) provides good mechanical and electrical strength, making it recommended for intricate high strength parts. It has a continuous operating temperature of 250°F and electrical grade linen phenolic rods meet the NEMA LE standard. These LE phenolic rods are produced as "sheet rod," which is centerless ground from LE sheets. Additionally, a special order "rolled & molded" grade is also available with a lead-time, typically at a higher price.
