Linen phenolic grade LE (linen electrical grade) provides good mechanical and electrical strength, making it suitable for intricate high strength parts. It has a continuous operating temperature of 250°F and meets the NEMA LE standard. The LE phenolic rods are produced as "sheet rod," which is centerless ground from LE sheets. Additionally, a special order "rolled and molded" grade is available, though it requires a lead-time and typically comes at a higher price.
