Each base of the Crosby wire rope clips features a product identification code (PIC) for material traceability, the name Crosby or CG, and a size forged into it. The clips have an efficiency rating of 80% for sizes 1/8" to 7/8" and 90% for sizes 1" through 3-1/2". The entire clip is galvanized to resist corrosion and rust. The sizes ranging from 1/8" to 2-1/2" and the 3" size have forged bases. All clips are individually bagged or tagged with proper application instructions and warning information. Clip sizes up to 1-1/2" feature rolled threads. These clips meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26, which includes identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature requirements. Additionally, the wire rope clips fulfill other critical performance requirements such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability, which are not covered by ASME B30.26.
