The kit includes forged alloy heat-treated hooks and forged steel swivel tees, yokes, and shackles. Hook and shackle assemblies are available in sizes ranging from 4-1/2" through 14", allowing for interchangeability. The components can be furnished with either bronze bushings or roller bearings, and the opening feature enables the insertion of rope while the block is suspended from a gin pole. The 3" through 18" 418 and 419 blocks are equipped with an exclusive bolt-retaining spring to prevent bolt loss and can be furnished with an S-4320 hook latch. Additionally, pressure lube fittings are included. The blocks ranging from 3" to 10" feature dual-rated wireline sheaves and are fatigue rated. All blocks measuring 4-1/2" and larger come equipped with RFID technology. These products meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26, which includes identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature requirements, as well as additional critical performance specifications such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability not addressed by ASME B30.26.
