The kit includes a forged alloy body that is quenched and tempered, featuring an alloy pin. The unique alloy composition provides higher working load limits compared to the standard G-209 shackle, while maintaining the same shackle size. The working load limit is permanently displayed on the shackle for easy reference. It is hot-dip galvanized for enhanced corrosion resistance and is fatigue rated to ensure durability and reliability under stress. Additionally, the shackle can be furnished proof-tested with certificates, subject to additional charges, so it's advisable to inquire at the time of order.
