Each base of the Crosby wire rope clips features a product identification code (PIC) for material traceability, along with the name Crosby or CG and the size forged into it. The clips are designed with an efficiency rating of 80% for sizes ranging from 1/8" to 7/8" and 90% for sizes from 1" to 3-1/2". They are entirely galvanized to provide resistance against corrosive and rusting action, with sizes from 1/8" through 2-1/2" and 3" having forged bases. All clips are individually bagged or tagged, accompanied by proper application instructions and warning information. Sizes up to 1-1/2" feature rolled threads. The clips comply with and meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26, which includes criteria for identification, ductility, design factor, proof load, and temperature requirements. Additionally, these wire rope clips fulfill other vital performance requirements such as fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability, which are not explicitly addressed by ASME B30.26.
