The VM-1054 from Baileigh Industrial is a variable speed milling machine equipped with a 10" x 54" table that has been hardened, ground, polished, and treated with Turcite® B to enhance durability and prevent corrosion. It operates using a Yaskawa® inverter powered by 220 volts of three-phase power, allowing variable speed adjustments between 80 and 3800 RPM for optimized tooling life and improved cut quality. The machine features an NT 40 taper spindle for enhanced performance, along with robust castings for the base and frame to ensure rigidity during operation. All three axes are powered for ease of use, and a two-axis Mitutoyo® digital readout, accurate to 1/10 of 1 thousandth of an inch, comes standard. Additionally, the VM-1054 includes a factory-installed flood coolant system, air drawbar, and central lubrication system.
