Delrin® AF Blend, specifically the standard grade formulation containing 13% PTFE, is an innovative thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material features a uniform dispersion of PTFE fibers within Delrin® acetal resin, enhancing its performance characteristics. The product is characterized by the inclusion of 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 and is also available in a higher strength variant, Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, available through custom orders. Additionally, the DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified in accordance with US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with stringent military standards.
