Delrin® AF Blend is a unique thermoplastic material designed for use in moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are essential. This material combines PTFE fibers, uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, with a standard grade composition that typically includes 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 and is always 13% PTFE powder-filled. For custom orders, full-strength Delrin® 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available. Additionally, DE588 is a fully-certified version of Delrin® 100AF compliant with US Naval specifications.
