Delrin® AF Blend, a thermoplastic material with 13% PTFE (Standard Grade), is designed for use in moving parts where low friction and long wear life are critical. This unique blend features PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, ensuring enhanced performance in various applications. The standard formulation typically contains 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13, while a custom option is available with full-strength Delrin 100AF, which includes 20% PTFE. DE588 is fully certified for US Naval specifications, guaranteeing compliance with rigorous industry standards.
