Delrin® AF Blend is a unique thermoplastic material designed for use in moving parts where low friction and long wear life are critical. This material features 13% PTFE fibers that are uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, resulting in a composition that includes 13% PTFE fibre-filled LF-13, which is consistently a 13% PTFE powder-filled formulation. For applications requiring higher PTFE content, full-strength Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available upon custom order. Additionally, DE588 is a variant of Delrin® 100AF that is fully-certified for US Naval specifications. This material is ideal for demanding applications, combining durability with reduced friction for enhanced performance.
