Delrin® AF Blend, specifically Delrin® AF Blend with 13% PTFE (Standard Grade), is a specialized thermoplastic material engineered for applications in moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material features a uniform dispersion of PTFE fibers within Delrin® acetal resin, typically comprising 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13. There is also an option for full-strength Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, available on a custom order basis. Additionally, the DE588 variant of this blend is fully certified to meet US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with rigorous performance standards.
